CHH Mini Folding Pool Table

The design of the CHH Mini Folding Pool Table demonstrates the role of design in solving problems. While many Americans enjoy the game of pool, a full sized pool table is expensive and takes up space that many people do not have in their homes. This table is designed to allow its users to enjoy the pool experience on a table that is easy to assemble and easy to store after use. The dimensions of this foldable table are its greatest feature. Users can enjoy an unobstructed game of pool on a table that is 44 inches in width and 29 inches in height. Though the legs are lightweight, they are secured by beams that stabilize the entire table.

The main drawback of the design is its aesthetic attributes. While the table is designed to withstand the stresses caused by an active game of pool, it appears to be quite flimsy in its construction. The legs of the table appear to be very fragile and thin. Further, the gold threats that line the pockets of the table indicate a cheapness of design. Metal legs and frames could be substituted to increase the sturdiness of the design and improve the aesthetic appearance of the table. Further, the netting should be replaced with cup pockets to improve the appearance of the tabletop. These adjustments will allow the table to look as sturdy as it actually is in construction and increase the user’s confidence that the table can hold up under pressure.
